August is a very momentous month because Indonesia was freed from colonialism on 17th of August 1945. Little Thinkers Alam Sutera and Surabaya had a simple celebration to commemorate the said event through a simple flag ceremony, singing of Hari Merdeka, fun exercise, art and craft activities and games.



Students came with the red and white outfit to represent the colors of the Indonesian flag. Students enjoyed art and crafts activities and games, while participating in a national event of patriotism.
