Student-centered approach
is our dominant feature in class.
The students arrived in red-white outfit and red-white headband/accessories, ready to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day. Young as they were, they learned to take part in a simple Flag Ceremony, saluting the Indonesian flag. They sang “Indonesia Raya” and recited “Pancasila” as best as they could. They listened to the “Proklamasi” documentary. They barely could wait to jump into the fun games, such as flag hunt, sorting ball, chopstick in a bottle and balloon transfer. Good cheers and laughter were heard along the games. The students also made a special artwork related to Indonesia’s symbol and proudly brought it home.
Happy 80th birthday, Indonesia! MERDEKA!
